old, wrinkled, and wise
seemingly grandfatherly in many ways
but behind those half-mooned spectacles
lay a warrior
a mastermind at battle tactics.
however caring and gentle he may appear
he was a ruthless commander in the face of war
sacrificing many, people and beliefs
for the sake of the greater good.
but in the end
was he really that much different?
or was he exactly the same?
