escape;

there are those who drink their sorrows away

drink away the complications of life

for a more pleasant reality

in blissful darkness.

i am one who reads the night away

long hours put in

reading any material

i can get my hands on.

for me, it puts me in another world

a vast landscape of possibilities

only discovered between covers of a book.

and the process is repeated again, tonight.
