to nursing.

it's filled with dinner parties

christmas lights

and sleep.

i have less than twenty-four hours

until my first exam

for which i have not cracked open

the books.

i am completely

and utterly over this semester.

i do not wish to think about the multiple

drugs

that i must memorize

or diabetic insulin peaks.

granted, it is important

but i am simply

over it.
